Raven’s Retreat is an adults-only property by default. If you are planning a full-property wedding buyout and want children included, that must be approved in writing before booking.

Raven’s Retreat can host intimate weddings and micro weddings with up to 30 guests for the ceremony. Overnight accommodations are available for part of the group, depending on the lodging included with your booking.

Raven’s Retreat is an adults-only property. For approved micro-weddings and full-property buyouts, exceptions for guests under 21 may be discussed with the hosts in advance and require written approval. The wellness and spa areas are not suitable for children.

Raven’s Retreat is near Laurelville in Hocking Hills, giving couples and guests access to local restaurants, groceries, supplies, hiking, and a range of area activities such as kayaking, ziplining, rock climbing, art galleries, and scenic state park experiences.
To reserve your date, we require a non-refundable $1,000 deposit.
The remaining balance for your micro wedding or elopement is due 120 days before your event.
Each wedding booking includes a two-night stay in our Unique Art Lodge and Pollinator Tiny Bungalow.
The Art Lodge sleeps up to 16 guests, and the Pollinator Tiny Bungalow sleeps up to 2 guests. Because the bungalow is about a 3-minute walk from the lodge, up to 18 people in your group of 30 total guests can stay overnight on our private 58-acre nature preserve for two nights.
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM.
If needed, you may drop off bags at 1:00 PM, though our cleaners require until 4:00 PM to prepare the spaces.
We can host up to 30 total guests, including your officiant, photographer, and caterer. Because Raven’s Retreat Hocking Hills is a nature preserve, we follow eco-conscious practices that support a peaceful and immersive setting. This includes keeping loud noise to a minimum, reducing light pollution, and honoring leave-no-trace ethics.
For that reason, we are not able to accommodate DJs or additional service providers beyond your approved guest count. Softer live music may be possible with prior approval.
Each booking also includes an optional 50% discount on a personal wood or ice sculpture performance by master sculptor Dustin Weatherby. Dustin will speak with you directly to design something custom for your special day.
