Sculpting workshops at Raven's Retreat are hands-on. Dustin Weatherby leads every session personally out of his SculptDecor studio, the Art Lodge, or the Bungalow. Guests work with real clay or wax under real guidance, and everyone leaves with a piece they made themselves. No prior experience is expected or assumed.
Two and a half to three hours. One guided piece. You keep it.
The workshop runs 2.5 to 3 hours in the SculptDecor studio, the Art Lodge, or the Bungalow. Dustin starts with a brief material demo, sets up each guest with clay or wax, and then works the room, giving hand-on-hand corrections and short one-on-one guidance for the length of the session.
The piece you make during the session is yours to keep. Firing / finishing is arranged separately for pieces that need it.

Your Own Piece
You work a real piece under real guidance for the bulk of the session. Not a group project.
1:1 Corrections
Dustin moves the room the whole class: hand-on-hand corrections, short 1:1 guidance, immediate answers.
Studio Access
You're in the same studio Dustin's professional pieces come out of. The tools and the space are the real thing.
Take Your Piece Home
Every guest keeps the piece they made. Firing / finishing arranged separately for pieces that need it.
