Raven and Dustin acquired this 58-acre property in Hocking Hills, Ohio in 2018 with a single intention: to build a healing space in nature that did not exist anywhere else. What followed was four years of patience, craft, and conviction.
The retreat project began in earnest in 2018 and, after four years of construction, Raven's Retreat opened its doors in 2022. Every trail, building, and sculpture reflects that deliberate care.

Dustin brings 25+ years of professional sculpting to Raven's Retreat. He did not decorate a property. He built one from the ground up. Every steel installation, handcrafted furniture piece, and landscape feature on the 58-acre preserve is his work.
His sculpture has been featured on Disney+, the History Channel, and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. On-site, he leads the SculptDecor studio and offers live sculpture performances, guided art tours, sculpting workshops, and a wild edibles tour for retreat guests.

The preserve is a release site for orphaned and rehabilitated wildlife, which is why so much of the 58 acres is left deliberately wild. Every booking at Raven's Retreat contributes to that ongoing work. The retreat is built to be sustainable and intentional, not a generic escape. Adults only, plant-based-friendly meals, and a philosophy that a retreat should return you home with transferable skills, not just photographs.
