Improv
Team Retreat
in Hocking Hills | Groups 6–20

A day built for teams who need more than a conference room. Your group starts the day slowed down and grounded on our private nature preserve, moves into a two-part sculpture session with Dustin and Raven bridging a shared meal, then closes with a two-hour interactive workshop with WitWorks, built through play-based experiential learning to strengthen how your team communicates, collaborates, and connects.

This isn’t a corporate training day wearing a retreat costume. It’s a full reset, with real skill-building woven into it.

Built Specifically for Teams Who Want to Reconnect, Not Just Recharge

Most team offsites give people a change of scenery. This one gives them a change in how they relate to each other.

The day is intentionally sequenced: wellness first, to help the group slow down and arrive fully present, then a two-part sculpture session with Dustin and Raven, split by a shared meal, then a two-hour improv-based workshop with WitWorks to close the day, once the group is warmed up, connected, and ready to play. The exact shape of the day is customized for your group during your retreat consult call.

Wellness Experiences to Open the Day

Depending on what fits your people, the opening of the day can include

Guided breathwork
A grounding yoga session
A sound bath
A wild edibles tour through the preserve
A guided art interpretation tour of the property
A nature scavenger hunt

Every group is different. Some need stillness. Some need movement. We design the opening together on your consult call, so the day is shaped around the people actually showing up.

A Two-Part Sculpture Session with Dustin & Raven

The creative heart of the day happens in two parts, with lunch built right into the middle of it.

Part One (1 hour, before lunch): Dustin and Raven lead your group into the sculpture activation, either building a single collaborative piece as a group, or individual take-home sculptures, guided step by step.

Part Two (1 hour, after lunch): The meal gives the work time to set and the conversation time to deepen, before the group returns to finish their sculptures or collab sculpture.

Splitting the session this way isn’t a scheduling quirk. Stepping away and coming back changes how people see their own work, and gives the group a natural rhythm of build, pause, reflect, build.

A Shared, Thoughtfully Prepared Meal

A meal is included in the day, prepared with care, right between the two sculpture sessions.

Sharing food slows the pace and gives the group a chance to talk, laugh, and settle in before returning to finish their sculptures or collab sculpture. It’s part of the experience, not a break from it.

A Two-Hour Improv-Based Workshop with WitWorks

The day closes with a two-hour interactive workshop led by WitWorks, offering improv-based experiences designed to strengthen communication, collaboration, confidence, and connection through play-based experiential learning.

Led by professional facilitators and performers, the session blends engaging activities, guided reflection, and real-world skill building in a fun, supportive environment.

WitWorks customizes their workshops for corporate retreats, leadership groups, wellness experiences, and community gatherings, with a focus on helping participants connect more authentically, think more creatively, and step outside their comfort zones together.
